State Troopers BLITZ this area periodically! They cruise up and down in both directions using marked and unmarked cars. They are never stationary and catch motorists going in the opposite direction, it’s easy for them to turn around. I understand that radar devices are inaccurate with calculating speeds with 2 cars moving in opposite directions, especially when the signal is pointed at a lane with multiple cars moving. We locals refer to stretch as “Radar Alley.”
