Highway 28 at the Spillways

Disney, OklahomaSep 02, 20102 Comments

Moon light patrollers sit in the park area waiting for west bound traffic coming down the hill toward the spillways. They don’t even know the true speed limit, which is 40 they think is 35.
They like to search your vehicle illegally.

Comments:
I think they work the traffic so hard because the Police Department is very pro visitors who ride up and down the the side of the highway on 4 wheelers and off road vehicles. This is for their safety. Keep in mind this is a lake town and there are alot of pedestrians and people not familiar with the curves and hills in town. The spot you reference IS 35 mph, clearly posted, and is a parking lot across the street from the state park which has ALOT of pedestrians trying to cross the road. Give these guys a break and slow down, or suffer the consequences of getting caught.

Disney ,Langley and the GRDA police units rule south Grand Lake they hound everyone in the no stop light down of Disney which has 5 cars ,Langley another 5 and the GRDA over 50 so crossing the dam in either direction puts you in their sites it is the worst area on Grand Lake
