Highway 285 West of Morrison (west of Denver)
Always see stops in early morning (5:30 – 7:30 AM) just after a reduce speed ahead to 45, and then very close to that a 45mph speed limit sign. This is after a long run of 65mph and/or entering westbound from Morrison. The signage seems suspiciously convenient for catching newbies. There are some tight corners and sharp turn exits afterwards but they do have their own signs. Even if you know he is there it is easy to be over 45 when you get clocked.

Yep I was Tagged may 16 2016 southbound mile marker 247. Cop is covert right around the corner just waiting to tell he can't give you a break to the lower speed citation. Show up at Morrison municipal court and its like herding sheep through the plea from the DA then to the Judge to keep the same fine and add $25.00 court costs. Total absolute scam. They do this all day long to keep the revenue stream for the city going. I will not spend a dime in the city of Morrison. Be on the lookout for the Morrison cop SUV just waiting for you.
