IT’s the S.Q. who does this job. Their new cars have no lights on the top so there’s is no way no see them before they catch you. They don’t seem to have any radar: they just drive 120 km-h and wait for anybody to pass them. One int: They all have blue Impala !!!

No, police in Quebec have to be stopped and using radar in order for any kind of violation. If you are stopped by an officer using this method, contest the ticket. It is not legal. They cannot use their radar while on the move either, this is important to note. Also some officers have radar on their roofs so they do not even have to be out of the vehicle, also they can do radar as you come towards them or as you go away from them, so be careful not to speed as soon as you pass them.
