Highway 33 East end of town
Coming westbound into town on Highway 33 the speedlimit slows from 60 mph to 50 mph. The Crete Police often sit in the Rassmussan/Stuart Dealership Car Lot after hours next to the cars for sale. They are looking for people who do not slow down fast enough coming into town or speed up too soon going out of town.

They also like to hide just west of Wal-Mart (across the road that connects to Hwy. 33, on the side nearest the Nestlé Purina PetCare facility fence) and wait for vehicles that aren't obeying the 50 MPH speed limit.
