Highway 40 West Expressway near St-Charles Boulevard

Kirkland, QuebecOct 16, 20071 Comments

Speed traps with Radar are usually common on the part of "Service Road" of Highway 40 West just before the St-Charles exit. Often during late afternoon (but it can be at anytime as well) there can be as many as 5 police cars stopping vehicles for speeding. This is a 50-KM zone but people tend to exceed this limit on a regular basis. Advise Caution!

Comments:
This site is used at any time; I got nailed on a Sunday morning with no traffic around me. The radar can be at an entrance of the parking lot of the phamaceutical company downhill from Fairview. A good place to make their daily quota as few people realize they've picked up just enough speed going downhill to get nabbed.
