As already stated by numerous members, Oakridge is THE speedtrap for Oregon. Oakridge now surpasses the infamous Coburg, Oregon for giving out tickets. Three squad cars plus one unmarked police car in a population of a little over 3,000. The police all have cropped military haircuts and dress in black. The town survives by giving out violations.

Drving through Oakridge on Highway 58 In Lane County, they add to the insult of their undeserved flashing lights. Even after payment of their citation, the Oakridge speedtrap in Lane County doesn't allow Traffic School for insurance and driving points.
