Highway 70 eastbound from Ruidoso Downs.
Tourists go to Ruidoso and not “the Downs” to spend $$ so the only way this little burg can capitalize on the tourists traveling this road is to bang them as they leave town. The local PD was active this morning (Sunday, 5/19/13) taking advantage of those trying to get out of town. Yes the speed signs are posted but you’ve got to watch carefully for them…just as it seems you’re outta town, you’re NOT.
