Highway 97, south of Vernon near Tourist Information Booth or at College Way
Limits are posted at 50, then 70 and then 90 kmh going south, the opposite heading north into Vernon, all in about 1 kilometer. North is tricky because it’s downhill. A prime revenue-generator in the summer – tourists beware. RCMP are frequently parked in the open at the tourist info booth or further south at College Way just off the highway. Cars are usually unmarked.
