highway 99
This short corridor, just outside Newberg, (as you are entering Washington County), is always patrolled by at least one State Trooper and multiple unmarked Washington County Sheriffs cars and motorcycles. The Troopers rely on their lasers to target you as far as a quarter of a mile away and so do the Sheriffs. The Troopers also rely on X-band radar and the Sheriffs on Ka – and K band radar. They pulll over cars traveling east and west bound on this stretch of highway. This spot is a major speed trap with a lot of enforcement. watch out!
