The speed limit changes from 40 to 30 about a block past Pomeroy Ave. when traveling towards Kiely Blvd. and San Thomas Expwy on Homestead Rd. Cops often are present off a sidestreet by the Stuft Pizza, or hidden on one of the corners of Kiely Blvd. and Homestead Road.
