Motorcyle officer w/ handheld radar sometimes at Brook Road. Amherst Police car sometimes parked near barn just over the first rise … 30 MPH with no "allowances." Just slow down to 30 MPH after you leave Route 101 at the Cider Mill and you will see the trap within the next 1.5 miles.

Amherst Police are now checking speeds with handheld radar guns. They are usually on foot standing in places not easily visible by oncoming trafic. Cruisers are parked where they can not be seen. Be aware!
