Howard Street near Oakland Road

Coming from Stadium on Howard. You will top a hill at the intersection of Oakland and Howard. There are often cops gunning as cars descend the steep hill (Eastbound). The speed limit also drops to 30 on the hill, so drivers must brake all the way down.

Comments:
The speed limit is 40 going east from the campus until you hit Oakland Dr. This writer is correct. It changes immediately to 30, no warning. I got a ticket, as the writer is correct. As you go down the hill, you have to put your brakes on the entire way. I had a police office jump out of his car in front of my car, make me back UP the hill into a service drive. Only ticket I have ever had. No slack cut nothing. Only good thing I can say??? Is in his next job he served my ex-husband divorce papers otherwise I would still be mad as that is just plain a trap.

There is a Middle School half way down the hill, so go ahead and ride your brakes all the way down the hill. 30 mph especially when school is starting or letting out. Also the Public Safety station is on the corner right at the top of the hill. They will get you for going over 30mph.
