Highway Patrol Motorcycle Officer with radar gun targets vehicles coming down the straight-away, following the last curve of the road, coming from the direction of Lopez Lake. Parking on either side of the road, the motorcycle and officer blend well with background scenery and are not easily seen. The posted speed limit is 45 mph, reflective of the curvy road towards Lopez Lake. Motorists are easily lulled into speeding up a bit on the long, open straight-away, just prior to entering town.
