Driving thru Hulbert on Saturday morning and received a ticket from a cop in training. He wrote me for doing 52 in a 40. I asked when did you clock me and he said at the sign ( he was setting at the subway in front of me). I guess they expect you to go from 50 to 40 by locking up you brakes. Went to court and the woman taking your name had a stack of tickets about 1 1/2” thick. Most everyone appearing was also ticketed at the same location. Good news is the judge kept if off my record. Bad new is it cost $160. The state needs to penalize the City of HULBERT and stop them from writing speeding ticket for a year. Hopefully it will break them and they won’t have the money for the 5 police cars I saw.
