Hwy 1
The town has one police officer. He’s a nice guy… But will pull you over–Even after you’ve crossed the bridge. I was traveling north on 1, was going 68 in a 45–Never saw the sign. Never felt like I was endangering anyone. The town is so small, you’ll never see it! But apparently they feel the need to drop the speed limit. He blue-lighted me on the White River bridge and got me on the Monroe County side of the river. Being New Years Eve and being from out of town didn’t help either. I’m from Mississippi.

There have been 5 people killed due to speed there. Going 13 mph over the speed limit is your fault not the sign, police, or the city's. The state decides the speed limit not the city.
