Hwy 10 runs right through the center of Verndale. The cops use various locations to catch speeders. They were the #3 speed trap in the state a year ago. They are very knowledgeable in the use of radar and lidar. There are two "reduced speed signs ahead" and two "40 mph signs". They also use a technique called "car clocking". Watch your speed!! These guys are really good!
