Hwy 102 north bound Exit 113

Truro, Nova ScotiaMay 04, 20151 Comments

From Exit 113 on Hwy 102 until the Hwy turns into Hwy 104 (the Transcanada) there is a speed change from 110 km/h posted down to 100 km/h. At exit 113 traveling northbound, the cops grab people just as you pass the speed change (within 200 m). There is an overpass where the Officer uses the radar on traffic traveling northbound.
Be Careful!

Comments:
"Millbrook OverPass on exit 13 A Bridge and Median" is another speed trap posting of the exact same spot. The day I was pulled over, there were four other cop cars that I could see in my rear view mirror who had pulled over people behind me. All of us were likely going 10 km/h over the previously posted 110 km/h. marker. "Operation Lidar" they call it. Trying to get aggressive drivers off the road. Because 10 km/h over the speed limit is aggressive! I am posting this because I don't want the decent drivers getting busted. All it accomplishes is a damaged reputation between motorists (society) and Police officers. Personally, I don't want to dislike cops, but things like this make me have very hard feelings towards them.
