Police sit at city limits and target cars leaving and entering town. Recieved ticket for 6 miles over speed limit (51 in 45 zone). I was incresing my speed leaving town some distance past the 45 limit sign, approaching the 55 speed zone. I was clocked 50 feet from the 55 sign. No leway given for speeding over limit. Speed limits are set below reasonable speeds to get revenue for this little town. No industry but the police department.
Watch exiting off of Interstate 35. Speed limits drop quickly in a very short distance and police will record your speed in a faster zone and use it to issue tickets in the lower speed zone.
Avoid this town. Buy gas somewhere else.
