Not only do the same 2 Cops run a speed trap for the ferry traffic heading southbound, they run a so called seatbelt, ID check of all cars leaving the village heading north (a 1st for me and I have been driving for almost 20 years). If they catch a drunk leaving the pub late at night more power to them, but, this is a resort town and most folks are wearing swim suits in the middle of the day and are heading to the lifeguard beach another 500 meters north of the stop zone. I think this is an east coast Baywatch bikini patrol in disguise. There is not a lot of action for these cops on this island, so they need something to do to pass the time.
