Hwy 140 out of Merced , Ca to Yosemite National Park has two speed signs that start at 45 and incerased to 55 along hwy 140. It is a very long and straight road where you can speed on.

There is a town just before you head into the hills to Yosemite. The CHP is parked on the right side of the road pointing north towards Merced , Ca using his radar. The CHP cruiser has a very low police lights so you can not see the car until it is to late.

I spotted the CHP and slowed down long before I got to him. He turned on his lights and rolled down his window and signaled me to pull over and ticketed me.

On my way out of Yosemite National going north on Hwy 140 I spotted the same CHP officer now parked on the Merced, ca side pointing south waiting for drivers speeding from Yosemite back towards Merced.
