Kemah cops are bad. They like to harass people, they will usually pull you over for doing just a little over the speed limit. Watch the speed limit, and FOLLOW IT. They will write you up for everything they can.

Kemah is the worst, I was pulled over under the guise of rolling a stop sign. I asked to see the video of the incident and was told I couldn't see it. Unfortunaly my license had expired by 4 days and they wrote me up on that and rolling the stop sign. I was told once got my license renewed that would charge would go away, I got my license renewed and they rewrote the charge as driving with an invalid license and I got charged with that. So be careful when going thru Kemah they vultures and don't care about safety just making money. I would say video tape everything they do when they pull you over .
