Dry Prong, LouisianaNov 01, 20011 Comments

HUNTERS BEWARE!!! Coming home from hunting at the Jackson-Beinville Game Reserve near Jonesboro we were caught in the speedtrap in Dry Prong. Many Louisiana hunters pass through this town since the main state highway cuts right through it. Many also conduct business in this town during deer hunting season, buying gas and other necessities needed for hunting, and paying taxes on these purchases. A marked white Crown Vic was located the local Baptist Church on the north side of town. The fine was $115.00.These red neck, sleepy towns are like bizzards,it was on Thanksgiving Day,it just happens that this is the day that many out of town hunters are going and coming from hunting. The speed limit drops to 35 with no warning.

Comments:
I refuse to patronize places who have speed traps as bad as the ones here. Alexandria and Winnfield aren't that far away. They have no business with a 35mph zone with a town that size.
