Hwy. 1W & Rd 28 W (about 13km East of Portage)
As you drive West towards Portage la Prairie you will cross the Assiniboine River about 13 km outside of Portage. After crossing the bridge the highway bends slightly to the left and there are bluffs of trees on either side. After the bend in the highway and the trees is Rd28W.
RCMP have been seen here with a speed trap ready to pounce a number of times.

Again, its the idiots complaining its a speed trap....Slow Down and you wont be caught....We do just over the speed limit and its like we are standing still sometimes.....
This hasn't been a speed trap since 2016 when the road the cops used to setup on was closed.
