Hwy 2 through outskirts of town
very light traffic at night especially after taverns close. Will issue traffic tickets for any speed over 25 mph although reasonalbe safe speed on wide section of hwy should be 45. 45 is posted short distance from trap.

Hwy. 2 late at night (not just daytime) is a speed trap just at Hilltop where the speed limit goes from 60 to 45 in the blink of an eye. They sit waiting so they can give a speeding ticket, they are also looking for any excuse (running light burned out, etc. so they can ask, have you been drinking? This is a big income source for the city. Don't blow, dance or sing.
not just the speed trap but look out for the traffic lights (@ 2)in the 25mph zone they are set with very short amber time so that there are red before you know it
