Officer using a laser identifies vehicles accelerating up the hill in excess of the posted 80 KM per hour speed limit. Police cruisers waiting on a sideroad at the top of the hill are radioed details to pull over identified vehicles.

This section of highway 22, is nothing more than a cash cow.
It does nothing to promote safety, whatsoever. If one is driving the speed limit, it becomes more unsafe than driving with the flow of traffic.
I received a ticket, following another vehicle. The vehicle in front of me was not charged, but I was. You figure that one out, because I can’t.
Nevertheless, the donation I provide to the Alberta Children’s Hospital, will get less, by the amount of my ticket, so it didn’t cost me a cent. Way to go, officer!
