Hwy 288 (just before SH 6)
Manvel PD can sometimes be seen ticketing motorists in the new 55 mph speed zone on Friday Afternoons. I noticed some people being stopped even when it was 70. The limit is ridiculous, but this area patrolled sporadically. Pay attention to the radar detector! Follow someone speeding!

Speed limit is now 65, has been for several years. There is a DPS station on Hwy 6, so there are a lot of troopers in the area.
