Hwy 29

Clearlake, CaliforniaApr 09, 20101 Comments

This strecht of highway goes through lower lake and goes from 45 to 55 mph after you pass through lower lake police sit either at the county bus depot or at the job zone and wait for people to go up to 55 just before the speed limit increase they nail alot of people there

Comments:
Highway 29 comes North from Middletown and turns at Lower Lake West towards Kelseyville. The section between Lower Lake and The City of Clearlake is on Highway 53! If I see CHP sitting alongside the road they are usually North of the 55-45 mph reduction going southbound. Well befor the change in speed. Or they are sitting on Kugleman St. well after the reduction to 45. If you are still above the 45mph change you deserve the ticket! Definatly not a speed trap. I have rarely seen any CHP sitting alongside the roadway Northbound on 53. There are no Lower Lake Police! Only CHP and Lake Sheriff. Further North across Cache Creek bridge City of Clearlake Police possibly.
