As you come down the hill from the summit.. you start to get to where the are some houses. Through this area is usually where there will be a CHP unit pointing up the hill at you from the opposite lane of traffic right beside a very tall pine tree. You’ll know the spot because it’s the last long straightaway before you get into the city. They will use KA Band and Lidar there as you start down the hill.
