Hwy. 431
Cop sits at the BP station and patrols the backroads near new subdivision developments as well. The city prosecutor, magistrate, and cop are all in it together. This is a town to be avoided. Local lawyers won’t even help with issues in this town.

Actually this is not a drastic speed limit change trap.The speed limit is 65 throughout the entire section of highway 431.The trap is that they give no tolerance.A citation will be written for even one mile per hour over 65.The tendency is to drive the usual few over,because the highway is so flat and is great pavement.They WILL cite for just one mile per hour over,and of course probably look to find any other violations as well to fill their coffers.
1 Over? That's ridiculous. You would be hard pressed to even find someone that got a ticket under 78 in a 65 zone on this stretch of highway!
