Hwy. 49 North of Marshall Rd.
On Hwy 49 just north of Marshall Rd at Bacchi Rd., CHP like to sit behind a little berm and pick off speeders heading toward Cool.

This is definetly a favorite spot for chp activities. It's also the only place on 49 between auburn and placerville that you actually can speed.. guess that's why they lurk there. They will nail you north or southbound, i have two tickets to prove it.
