This is used as a training ground for CHP Saturday and Sunday mornings. Works very well for them!

This is an aircraft speed trap. I live nearby and know the CHP plane and watch/listen to it weekend mornings. It probably isn't in just one direction as they will switch sides as the ground vehicles reach the end of the beat, so beware in both directions.
