Definitely watch your speed after leaving Piperton heading east on hwy 57. There is road construction about 3 miles east of Piperton where hwy 385 will eventually cross over hwy 57. The speed limit is posted 45 then drops to 35 in the construction area which is less than a mile long. Then the speed limit resumes to 45. I was traveling through there Tues 8-28-2012 when I was stopped just within the main part of Rossville which consists of basically nothing. I had my cruise control set on 47 and was ticketed for 56 in a 45. Even my GPS indicated I was doing 47 through the entire stretch. Hmmm, how is this possible I asked the officer. He argued with me and refuse to show me the radar lock. Going to court about this is a losing proposition as well. Ended up being a 120.00 fine. This place reminds me of Oakland Tn and eventually will be investigated by the Feds.
