On our way out of white sands national monument towards Ruidoso, there are constant and I mean constant shifts in speed limits ranging from 45, 55, 65 and 70. I had passed a 65 mph zone that apparently dropped to 55. I was going with the flow of other motorists. The state trooper came out of nowhere. ..good hiding spot apparently. I didn’t contest the infraction thinking I would get a warning because I was going with flow of other motorists. I got a $87 ticket. Just in time for Christmas and our winter vacation (from Texas). I suspect I wasn’t the only one this kid looking trooper stopped on this day.
