The cops wait here and catch drivers in the transition of speed; drivers can easily miss a speed sign — a truck could block the sign from view or road distraction. Almost all the cars are traveling at 70 miles per hour or more; the cops simply pick a car to give the ticket. It is a speed trap. It is very disgusting. I see the cops have been doing at this spot for years. It is a certain revenue stream for them and much easier than catching car thieves.
