22 yr old student enroute to Texas Tech. Stopped for 50 in a supposedly "40" on way out of town. Not true. Full pat-down search. Suggested my Swiss Army knife in my pocket was a serious weapon. Officer repeatedly tried to coerce me into giving him permission to search my car. I repeatedly refused. Threatened to get a K-9 drug unit. I said go ahead. He went back to his car, wrote the ticket and allowed me to leave. He was not happy.

I got the same treatment yesterday. BS Ticket, had a meeting San Antonio. New car, pressed slacks, sports coat hangin in the back, clean shaven and hair neatly trimmed. Writing tickets as fast as they can to those that live too far away to fight them. It is why they ask you where you are coming from and where you are headed. Trying to intimidate people and make them erroneously feel like they were somehow a hazard to others.
