When you come over the hill, just entering Post, there is always a Post policeman or a state trooper there to catch you. There are also policemen right as you exit Post going toward Lubbock.

I live in Post, and know that we only have deputy sheriffs, and highway patrol, and there is hardly ever more than 1 or 2 on duty at any one time. they do set up below the overpass, but only occasionally. The speedlimit drops from70 to 55 before the city limits, and drops to 45 to just over the overpass, then 35 on through town. I have seen gutsy people still driviing 70 after the overpass.
