hwy 84w. adjacent dollar store in church lot
On the south side of hwy 84 (AKA "6th street"),in a church parking lot, across the street from the dollar store. The speed limit is 35mph and this is at the bottom of a hill either way.You can’t see the cop from west, and from the east it is too late by the time you see him. Generally there after 6pm.But beware always!

Get your facts straight. The speed limit at the point at which the officer waits is 45mph. Coming from the west you are in a 45mph speed zone coming down the hill and you need to be slowing down anyway because just past the church parking lot you can see the sign where the speed limit drops to 30mph as you are approaching the center of town. From the East you are nearly to the bottom of the hill in a 30mph speed zone when you see the officer parked in the church parking lot. If you have not been paying attention you could be above 40 mph by the time you hit the bottom of the hill and are likely to get a ticket. I have come down that hill doing between 35 and 40mph when I noticed the officer and have not been pulled over. Hardly what I would consider a speed trap.
