Hwy 90 Between Ocean Springs and Gautier
They recently changed the speed limit to 45 on this stretch of 90. There is NO reason to have reduced the hwy speed from 55 to 45 rather than creating a speed trap. If you’re traveling Eastbound to work after 0530 BEWARE! Cops are out in force!

The given explanation of the reduction in speed is that there is/was highway construction and MDOT reduced the speed to 45. Gautier Five-O has used this to their advantage. Lots of cops. I always set my cruise. As posted....BEWARE. Since the construction is about over, it will be interesting to see if the limit is raised to 55.
