Hwy 90 north of libety

Liberty, TexasJul 18, 20022 Comments

1 horse town and the judges are part time. They even drive school buses. Officer has been cited for writing too many tickets per hour, but refuses to back down

Comments:
Hwy 90 - North of Liberty This maybe a speed trap area but Hwy 90 runs east & west whereas Hwy 146 runs north and south. So, I think, the heading should be Hwy 146 and libety is spelled with a "b" in it - Liberty. This is not a 1 horse town - it has many horses in and around the town but rarely seen in the township. Also, there are many judges in Liberty, Texas because this is the county seat for Liberty County. I checked with the Liberty ISD Transportation Director and was informed that NO judge or judges were driving their buses. No comment on the Officer matter. Get your stuff right, before typing for the world to see!

If you were trying to go north on HWY 90, it's no wonder you got a ticket. If you are speeding in the River Bottom between Liberty and Dayton, you will get stopped. This is to prevent the constant flow of non-residents from creating a big mess in our fair city. As the previous poster said, Liberty is the county seat of Liberty County, so we are over run with judges and lawyers. Please don't speed through Liberty - you might hit our horse.
