I-10 headed West on mile marker 62
Here is when you enter El Paso County. The speed limit drops down to 70mph from 80mph. A lot of the time motorist continue driving 80mph.
The whole drive on I-10 I never ran into an officer, the moment I crossed into that county there were DPS left and right! I was following someone going 85mph and I was going 75mph. I was the one to get pulled over.
So my suggestion is just go the 70mph. Better safe than sorry and still have to pay a huge fine.
