State troopers are now hiding in the grass median between Exit 1 and 5 (Livingston, Roseland, Caldwell townships), especially after a clump of trees. The state troopers will nail you in Roseland, as they seem to have a relationship with the prosecuter and local cops. You especially want to watch out for a certain officer. He apparently is on some crusade against speeders. He will write you multiple tickets if he can, and will always show up in court. I suggest you get a lawyer, and look into his background if he gives you a ticket. I would also not even try to discuss the ticket with him, and do not admit to any violations during the stop. I would actually refuse to answer questions without a lawyer. He also will not hesitate to come out of his trap and follow for a long distance, to pull you over, in the event you blow past him unknowingly in heavy traffic. I believe he also will move around a lot during a paticular session, of speed enforcement. You have to careful you don’t fly by him, as he is coming on an entrance ramp.
