I-40 in Burke Co. Hiding on ramps
Hiding on the entrance and exit ramps. There are steel cables in the center median and guard rails on the right sides which limits the places for them to turn around or sit on the shoulder.

Do not speed in Burke County, period. They will pull you over for any amount over the speed limit. Specifically from exits 100 to 105 along I-40. Burke County has been hard hit by the economy and I-40 is a major route through to Asheville and Tennessee from the east coast. Go 65 mph in this zone and wave at the multiple troopers staged in this area with the sole purpose of pumping up county revenue for this economically depressed county.
