I-5 North and South at Curve
I-5 speed reduced at curve near the Myrtle Creek, Oregon exit 108. Myrtle Creek City Police sit on either side of this curve and ticket drivers who exceed the posted reduced speed even slightly. This is an area normally covered by the State Police. The Myrtle Creek police involvement is solely to bring revenue from fines into the city coffers.
