I-5 south of Anderson Pass, north of Yreka
Mostly a trap for southbound motorists heading downhill from Anderson Pass towards Yreka after climbing out of the Klamath River canyon. Cops sit hidden in cuts in the median or behind construction equipment on median of I-5. Speed limit is 65, not 70 like most of I-5 in California. It’s rare not to see someone pulled over on the southbound side. They also look for northbound traffic speeding up after leaving Yreka.
