In 2012: this isn't a popular speed trap anymore, for no apparent reason. The weigh station in front is out of order, with lack of funds to fix it, provides great cover. I've seen a trooper standing across the freeway, on the HOV lane shoulder, and closer to SR 526 pointing his gun at potential victims who speed up the hill. Perhaps a year ago, one was camped out under the 112th St. overpass, on the HOV onramp from the S. Everett P&R. The turnaround in-between used to be a regular spot, but rarely is these days.
