Local Police hide in medians, on ramps, & any available cover and usually patrol in groups of white unmarked Crown Vics, Impalas, & Tahoes. They frequently set up a couple of miles apart and get you after you pass one thinking you’re in the clear and speed up. In particular they set up at the bottom of a steep hill where people will be driving faster than they realize due to the steep grade. The lanes have a large wooded median that ends at the bottom of the hill and they will use this for cover. If you see one there are likely more lurking around. Although you’re usually good to go if you keep it 77 or 78 (posted limit is 70).
