I-71 N/S between La Grange and Buckner Exits
County and City (La Grange) Police are completly manic about patroling the strech of 71 betwen La Grange and Buckner, and to a lesser extent the two Crestwood (393, 329) exits. Use a wide variety of unmarked cars, a red T-Bird and Camero, plus officers on foot camped out on tall hills lining the interstate with radar guns, I’ve even seen a La Grange cruiser parked at a 35 degree angle on the steeply banked shoulder to the left of the road, just before Exit 22 (I-71 North).

A speed limit of 70 mph does not qualify as a "speed trap." You want to do 80-90 mph on an interstate where families travel, or drive your family at those speeds? You're an idiot, and deserve every ticket you receive. You are not entitled to endanger other people this way. It's drivers who want to exceed this limit who are "manic," not the cops enforcing this reasonable speed limit.
