From 10 miles south to 10 miles north of the town of New Philadelphia which is at exit #81 mile post is a speed trap for the county of Tuscarawas and the town. It even gained it’s fame in the newspapers when a local attorney was targeted by state troupers. The state patrol had for a time left so many tire tracks across the medium where they would turn and chase a car in the opposite direction that it made the Interstate look bad in that area. It cooled down for a time as personel were relocated but it is back again. Do not speed in this area.
