The CHP Academy on Reed Ave uses this stretch for training, usually in the morning. Beware phalanxes of up to ten motorcycle officers who hide inside the offramp cloverleaf, downstream from the flow of traffic. During rush hour, speeding shouldn’t be a problem, but I wouldn’t do anything stupid, like driving on the generous shoulders…
